Angel Hristov – a graduate from Department of Law at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, has taken up the position of junior investigator in the District Investigation Department at the District Prosecutor’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo.
A partnership agreement was signed within the framework of the official visit. It opens up new opportunities for international cooperation in the fields of education, science and innovation.
Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” has submitted an official statement to the National Assembly’s Education and Science Committee regarding the proposal for legislative amendments to the Higher Education Act, which stipulates that tuition fees at state universities may be limited to 75% of the budget support for a student admitted under a state order.
Varna Court of Appeal and Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" have also confirmed their cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Partnership. The document was signed by the Chairperson of the Court, Judge Marin Marinov, and the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov.
Within the framework of the event, Yani Yanev also honoured the best participants in the Student Legal Science Academy’2025 – an initiative that was held in the previous months with the aim of encouraging scientific activity among students from the Faculty of Law.
The Summer Scientific Session of the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will be opened on Friday, June 27th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Hall 2 of the Academic and Sports Complex. The forum brings together two scientific conferences with international participation - 'Law: Theory and Practice' and 'Security and Public Order - Theory and Practice'. Over 60 reports will be presented by scientists, doctoral and university students and practitioners in the field of law and security.
The anniversary concert performance entitled "In the Rhythm of Time", which took place at the Festival and Congress Center-Varna, brought together graduates, teachers, friends and partners from all over the country.
The International Scientific Conference 'Economic Transformations in the Global World' started today at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”. The forum, organized by the Faculty of Social Economic and Computer Sciences, brings together scientists, lecturers, doctoral and university students from Bulgaria, Europe, Asia and Africa within a two-day academic programme dedicated to current processes in management, economics, digital transformation and psychology.
