Project № BG05/116 “Technologies for integration of children and young people suffering autism into society and into the labour market”
On 08.01.2014 the “Technologies for integration of children and young people suffering autism into society and into the labour market” project started as a part of a programme supporting NGOs in Bulgaria funded by the European Union with 5 643 EUR (11,029.51 лв) in which Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” is a partner.
Our institution participates together with ESI Centre Eastern Europe, Adapta Foundation and BASSCOM. These organizations will be working on the project for two years.
The project aims to deal with the following main issues:
- Discrimination of disabled people in the educational system and on the labour market
- People suffering disabilities have limited abilities to use their human and civil rights, above all their right of education, professional realisation and participation in the life of the society
Specific aims of the project:
- Offering services which deal with the unaddressed needs or solve already existing problems of the society
- Defining the main differences between marginalized minorities and the main population of the society within the country.
