26/07/2022The lecturers from the Department of Arts at Varna Free University - Assoc. Prof. Kapka Manasieva, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Katya Kairyakova, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Ivaylo Ivanov, PhD were the jury in the competition programme of the Festival of the Folk Custom and Authentic Costume, which gathered the guardians of the Bulgarian way of life and folklore in the village of Ribaritsa.

25/07/2022The quality management system of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was recertified for the seventh time in a row by the International Certification Organization BUREAU VERITAS Certification in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and received a certificate with accreditation from UKAS (Great Britain) for a period of 3 years - until 2025.

Stoyanov", the regional governor, the mayor of Varna Municipality, the commander of the Naval Forces, the Association of Naval School Alumni, the Union of Reserve and Reserve Officers and Sergeants and the Union of War Veterans.
STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY AND SECURITY AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" CARRIED OUT AN INTERNSHIP AT THE KOZLODUY NPP
22/07/2022Third- and fourth-year students majoring in National Security Protection and Combating Crime and Public Order Protection at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" visited the Nuclear Power Plant in Kozloduy as part of their internship. The future experts, who are trained in the university's bachelor's programmes, got acquainted with the main systems located at the Kozloduy NPP site and the Nuclear Power Plant Accident Management Centre. They met with the experts and talked about topics related to the operational safety and security in the country's largest electricity producer. Topics related to the future of nuclear energy and Bulgaria's energy strategy, the environmental aspects of energy on a global scale, energy efficiency and the need for highly qualified experts in the field of energy and security were discussed.

07/07/2022The students of the Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" give an excellent mark of 5.62 to the quality of the educational process at the university. The results summarise the opinion of 4,478 students in 517 disciplines taught at the university. The survey is part of the regular student satisfaction inquiry that takes place at the end of the academic year. The results show sustainability - this year they are similar to last year’s, but with 15% more inquiries conducted. The analysis was discussed at a meeting of the Academic Council of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
