A SECOND-YEAR STUDENT AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"IS AT ONE OF THE BEST POLISH UNIVERSITIES UNDER ERASMUS+

Lora Petkova - a second-year student of Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", is in 3-month training under the European programme for educational mobility Erasmus + at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz, Poland.
In the third largest Polish city, Lora studies the specifics and niceties of graphic design in English in a group with Polish and Erasmus students from abroad. The student of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was included in the "Erasmus +" programme, thanks to her excellent marks and high level of proficiency in English. She has already participated in lectures and creative seminars, and met her new fellow students.
At the end of the mobility, Lora has to sit 10 exams at the prestigious Polish university, including 3D Animation, Photography and Art History. Her lecturers at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" are absolutely positive that the talented student will perform brilliantly in Lodz, just as she passed her first exams. Lora applied to Varna Free University with an excellent diploma from the Baba Tonka Mathematical Secondary School in Ruse.
"I am extremely proud and grateful to VFU" Chernorizets Hrabar "- an educational institution with a 30-year history that takes care of its students, makes their dreams come true and helps their career development. The university has created all the conditions for my Erasmus experience," said the second-year student from the frosty but springtime Lodz. She thanked the Erasmus office of Varna Free University for the excellent organization and support. Our girl believes that the acquaintances with foreign lecturers and students, the new educational opportunities and the acquaintance with the culture and sights of another country, gives a greater perspective for the future, for the career and for the academic development.
VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" has a long-term partnership with the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz. The two universities cooperate in the fields of Graphic Design, Business and Administration and Music and Dance.
A few days ago, the European Commission once again awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education to Varna Free University. The document is for the period 2021 - 2027 and outlines the framework for the quality of European and international cooperation activities. More than 350 students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" have participated in internships or training under the programme in the last 14 years. More than 160 lecturers have visited 40 European universities, and 76 administrative staff members have exchanged experience with their counterparts from the Old Continent. Over the past seven years, the university has welcomed over 200 students, 60 faculty and administrative staff members from across the European Union.
