Merhat Osman - a fourth year student majoring in Finance and Accounting at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" received the special award at the 12th edition of the National Auditing Competition for students "Young Auditor" for 2023, organized by The Higher School of Insurance and Finance (VUZF University).
Merhat's prize is an internship at the Bulgarian National Audit Office (BNAO). It was handed to him by Mrs. Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva, chairperson of the BNAO.

This year, over 50 students from 12 universities in the country took part in the "Young Auditor" competition. 25 participants were admitted to the second stage, which involved solving a test, and those who passed the test with more than 50% correct answers were admitted to the third stage - solving a case study.
The main partners of the competition are the Chamber of Audit of the Republic of Bulgaria, the The Commission for Public Oversight of Statutory Auditors and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria.
