Assoc. Prof. Dr. Borislav Ganchev Delivered Public Lecture on the Enforcement of Judgments Against Securities

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Borislav Ganchev delivered a public lecture on “Enforcement Against Securities under the Civil Procedure Code” to students, faculty members, and guests of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar.” The highly specialized topic, on which judicial case law remains limited, attracted considerable interest among those attending.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Borislav Ganchev teaches Civil Procedure Law and Civil Enforcement Law. He has held the academic position of Associate Professor since June 2026, having previously served as a Chief Assistant Professor. The public lecture was held in connection with his appointment as Associate Professor at Varna Free University.
His professional background combines teaching, academic research, and legal practice. From January to August 2022, he served as Deputy Minister of Justice. He has been a member of the Sofia Bar Association since 2010 and serves as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He has conducted seminars at the Krastyu Tsonchev Lawyers’ Training Centre of the Supreme Bar Council and for members of the Sofia Bar Association. He has participated in academic conferences and is the author of more than 20 publications and a scholarly monograph, as well as a co-author of several collected volumes.
Throughout his professional work, he places particular emphasis on improving the legal framework and developing solutions to specific legal issues.
