Cybersecurity training for adults conducted by VFU students is to be completed

On Sunday – 21 April, the cybersecurity training in the Detelina Pensioners Club in Vladislav Varnenchik district will be completed. It was conducted by the students of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Sergey Shatrov and Kristina Shatrova, who study in the professional area of Informatics and Computer Sciences of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The young experts accompanied the elderly people in their first steps on the Internet with a lot of attention and patience. Their "students" learned to use the virtual environment safely, to use social networks, to communicate with their loved ones through viber and messenger. The retirees are even making settings of computer programs.
"In the last of our classes, we will revise the lessons," said Sergey, who conducted the training as a volunteer.
The pilot group involved about 20 pensioners from the clubs in the districts of Kaisieva Gradina and Vladislav Varnenchik.
Varna Free University continues the training in cybersecurity and develops programs for the education of children and adults - Cybermagicians and Cyberuniversity for adults.
