DIGITAL TRANSFORMATIONS WILL BE A FOCUS IN THE SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ENTITLED SMART FUTURE

The scientific conference entitled Smart Future will be held online on 25 and 26 June 2021. The event unites initiatives of the Departments of Informatics and Economics at the Faculty of International Economics and Administration and is held under the sign of the 30th anniversary of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar’’. Partner of the event is the Municipality of Varna.
The conference aims to continue the good practices of previous editions and to provide opportunities and prospects for the transfer of innovations, building partnerships and joint implementation of projects in science and business.

The panel DIGITAL TRANSFORMATIONS is a new stage in the development of the International Conference for Science and Business for Smart Future 2021. It will show the support of the Department of Informatics at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" to include students from different specialties even in the first semester of their training in the discipline of Digital Transformations within the university block for students of Varna Free University, encouraging them to develop and design innovative business solutions during their studies. The projects will be presented online in the form of a virtual poster session. Projects proposals with an entrepreneurial focus will be evaluated by investors.
The panels dedicated to digital transformations will discuss the innovative idea of creating a map for digital citizenship of students studying at the universities in Varna. The Digital Citizenship Card is a proposal of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", presented during the First International Online Forum entitled Digitalization and Innovation in Education and Science. The card will be a sign of belonging of the youth community to our city, which will be able to use various services in an easy, efficient and fast way.
The student projects will be published in a special edition, and the team of the department will develop resources that will be used in the training of students in the discipline DIGITAL TRANSFORMATIONS in the academic year 2022 and will be provided by the university to partner companies, members of industry boards affiliated to the departments.
A panel of DIGITAL TRANSFORMATIONS in English will be held on 25 June, with the participation of students from the master's degree programmes in Data Science and Software Engineering and Management. The panel will be in Bulgarian on 26 June from 10 am to 3 pm in a virtual auditorium at: https://meet.google.com/odc-guyh-vbn .
