The students of Varna Free University attended the Erasmus+ Information Day, which was organized by the university's Erasmus office. Students from all majors actively participated and displayed considerable interest.
The representatives of the Erasmus office introduced the attendees to the main stages of application, the requirements for students, as well as the method of choosing a suitable university and academic courses that can be recognized after their return to VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The opportunities for financial support that students receive under the programme were also presented, as well as the administrative procedures related to the preparation and implementation of mobility. Special attention was paid to the fact that the deadline for applying for student mobility for training purposes for the winter and summer semesters of 2026/2027 is March 20th, 2026, and applications should be submitted to the Erasmus office of the university.
A particularly interesting and useful part of the event was the participation of students from Varna Free University, who during the winter semester were on mobility under the Erasmus+ Programme at universities in Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. They shared their personal impressions of studying and student life abroad, talked about the new knowledge and skills they had acquired, as well as the cultural exchange and international contacts they had established during their stay. Students who had already participated in mobility encouraged their colleagues to take advantage of the opportunities of the programme, emphasizing that participation in Erasmus+ contributes not only to academic development, but also to personal growth, improving language skills and gaining valuable international experience.
At the end of the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual guidance and consultations regarding the choice of a university, the preparation of the necessary documents and the application process.
