ERASMUS STUDENTS CHOSE TO STUDY AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" DURING THE SUMMER SEMESTER

Varna Free University welcomed today eight students from Poland and Turkey to study in the summer semester of the 2023-2024 academic year under the Erasmus+ Programme. The Bulgarian Erasmus semester has started for Elif, Wiktoria, Zuzanna, Maciej, Szymon, Patrycja, Julia and Antoni. They got to know the university, the lecturers and their schedule for the summer semester.

 The students Wiktoria Wojczakowska, Zuzanna Sułkowska, Maciej SosnowskI and  Szymon Stypik will study in National Security at Varna Free University. They are graduates of War Studies University - The University of War Studies in Warsaw is among the most renowned academic institutions in Poland. It trains experts for the military, civilian and academic institutions related to national security and defense, as well as the crisis response system. The partnership between VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the War Studies Studies dates back to 2012.






Patrycja Padarz and Julia Sojka from The General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military Academy of Land Force in Wroclaw will also study National Security at Varna Free University during the summer semester.  During the previous academic year, the university in the Polish city welcomed our student Teodora Teodosheva, who completed the summer semester of the second year with full honors.

Antoni Sosler from the University of Lodz will study International Business this semester. The partnership of VFU "Chernorizec Hrabar" with the University of Łódź has been going on for 13 years. The university is in the TOP 3 of Polish universities in terms of the quality of education in Economics.

Elif Erdem arrives from Dokuz Eylül University (September Nine University) - one of Varna Free University's new partners in Turkey. Elif is the first Turkish student from the University of Izmir who will study in the Arts.




This year, VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" not only welcomed foreign Erasmus students, but also sent a significant number of students to key universities in Europe to enrich their academic experience. Our graduates study during the summer semester at Universidade de Coruna, Obuda University and Sakarya University, respectively in the fields of law, graphic design and national security.

In the last four years, nearly 80 students from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" did mobility in Poland, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Cyprus and Turkey. Over 70 lecturers delivered lectures at key universities in Europe, and 55 lecturers from Romania, Poland, Turkey, Latvia, Slovakia, Italy, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine shared their scientific knowledge with students at Varna Free University.

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) has awarded the Erasmus Charter for higher education to VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" for the entire period of operation of the Erasmus+ programme from 2021 to 2027. Varna Free University is committed to the development of international education and promoting academic mobility, thereby continuing to contribute to scientific and cultural exchange in a European context.
