ERASMUS STUDENTS MAJORING AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" TALK ABOUT THEIR EDUCATIONAL MOBILITY IN THE FRAMEWORK OF AN INFORMATION DAY

The students at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" attended an information day held in person and online to present the opportunities for student mobility under the Erasmus+ programme for the winter semester of 2023/2024. Bachelors and masters from various specialties showed great interest to the event.
During the meeting, the students received information about the application procedures for the academic year 2023/2024; the selection procedures; the European universities and companies that are partners of Varna Free University partner European ; the amount of the Erasmus grant; the procedures for recognition of the training period; the application deadlines and the possibilities and conditions for re-participation of students who have already completed training or practice under the programme.
Students who have already completed a period of study and practice under the "Erasmus+" programme also took part in the information day. They shared their experience so far, the positive sides and the challenges that lie ahead for every future Erasmus student.
Maria Peneva, a student in the 3rd year, majoring in Architecture, who returned a month ago from mobility for the purpose of studying in Milan, told about her experiences and her positive emotions related to the Erasmus + programme. She shared her desire to participate in it again. The law student Laura Levicharova, who is studying at the University of Lisbon this semester, also took part online to talk about the challenge of studying abroad, new acquaintances and the exciting curriculum.
Erasmus+ programme is an initiative of the European Union, which provides students with the opportunity to carry out a period of study in European partner universities without payment ocademic fees, as well as practice in European companies, organizations and institutions. Varna Free University guarantees the academic recognition of the period of study abroad and provides funding (Erasmus grant) to its students to support them in their period of mobility.
