Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will host an international internship on the topic "LAW, DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND SUSTAINABLE GOVERNANCE", which will be held from 15 to 21 June 2026 at the University's Educational and Sports Complex. The initiator of the event is the Faculty of Law. It is organised in partnership with E-Science Space (Poland) and the Centre for Strategic Initiatives and Progressive Development (Ukraine).
The forum will bring together university professors, researchers, practicing experts, doctoral candidates and students from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan. Among the participants are also rectors of higher education institutions from abroad. It is expected that about 75 representatives of the academic and professional community will participate in the event.
The opening and plenary session will take place on 15 June. Current issues in the fields of law, economics, cybersecurity, public administration, communication, ecology, education and philosophy will be discussed. The main goal is to promote scientific exchange, international cooperation and the creation of new academic partnerships. The programme also includes presentations of good practices in the management and digitalization of university activities, meetings with the International Department of the university, discussions on the opportunities under the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programmes, as well as B2B meetings with foreign partners.
The international internship has established itself as an annual scientific event with a wide thematic scope and active international participation. The participants' reports will be published in indexed international scientific publications, including a collective monograph and a scientific journal. The expected results of the forum are related to the expansion of international academic cooperation, improvement of educational programmes and popularization of scientific research with significant applied value.
