INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL WRITES ABOUT THE CYBER RANGE SIMULATOR OF THE BLACK SEA SECURITY ACADEMY AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"

An article by Veselin Slavchev, published in the International Scientific Journal "Information & Security", raises the issue of the role of the cyber simulator "Cyber ​​Range" in educational programmes in cybersecurity. It notes that the Black Sea Security Academy at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is the only organization in Bulgaria that has one. The article by Veselin Slavchev - "Using Cyber ​​Ranges in Cybersecurity Management Educational Programmes" emphasizes that the training is carried out by leading Israeli specialists.

The Black Sea Security Academy at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" has had the simulator since 2019 and is currently the only one on the Balkans that operates the "Cyber ​​Range" simulator. "It supports 15 scenarios and 3 levels of complexity, designed for students, experts and law enforcement officers. Those who have completed the training course receive a joint certificate from the Black Sea Security Academy and the Israeli Center for Innovation and Cybersecurity", said Vladimir Bronfenbrenner, Secretary General of the Black Sea Security Academy, who coordinates the operation and use of the simulator in Bulgaria.
