IX INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION ARCIVE '2019 LAUNCHES ON MAY 31

IX International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Construction ArCivE '2019 will be held from 31 May to 2 June at Varna Free University. The event is under the patronage of the President of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Assoc. Prof. Dr.Krassimir Nedyalkov.
About 110 Bulgarian participants and 20 foreign lecturers have already been registered for the conference. An interest in the event was shown by professors and students from the Scientific and Technical Union on Construction (STUC), the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), the University of Civil Engineering "Lyuben Karavelov", the New Bulgarian University, the University of Forestry, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences - the Institute of Mechanics, the Academy of the Ministry of Interior, University of Economics - Varna, the Bulgarian Association for Insulation in Construction (BAIC), “Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov" University - Bourgas and Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The participants are distinguished Bulgarian scholars and researchers, PhD students, as well as students who make their first steps in the field of science.
The foreign guests are from "Gotse Delchev" University of Štip, Northern Macedonia; Maltepe University in Istanbul, Turkey; University of Nis, Serbia; Tottori University in Japan; Politehnica di Milano, Italy; University of Worcester in England; Odessa College of Transport Technology, Ukraine; International Education Corporation, Almaty, Kazakhstan; Gezira College of Art and Technology of Cartem, Sudan; University of Waterloo in Canada.
Within the framework of the scientific conference, 5 plenary reports will be presented:
- Acad. Jacko Ivanov - "Sustainable Construction - Challenge to the Science of Materials and Construction Industry"
- Prof. Dr. Arch. Borislav Borisov - The "Independence Square" and the Urban Development Problems of the Sofia Center "
- Prof. Dr. Arch. Masud Esmailu - "Sustainable Convergence of Knowledge for the City of L'Aquila"
- Corresponding member Prof. Atanas Kovachev et al. - "The Role and Importance of Planning Coherence with the Market for Sustainable Forms of Urban Growth"
- Eng. Daniel Trankov - "Innovations in the Röfix - Aerogel Thermal Insulation Systems"
During the conference, the closing phases of the following workshops will be held:
o Modelling workshop;
o Parametric DesignWorkshop;
o Dome Buildings Workshop;
o Field demonstration of materials for restoration and conservation of buildings.
Two fashion shows and exhibitions on the premises of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" are also included in the conference program.
