OVER 150 STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND EMPLOYEES STUDY CHINESE, JAPANESE AND PORTUGUESE LANGUAGES AT VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY

Over 150 students, lecturers and employees of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” attend the free courses in Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese languages and culture, organised by the Department of Foreign Language Teaching and Postgraduate Qualification.
The training is conducted by native speakers. Twenty-eight people are studying Chinese under the guidance of Shaoyang Sun from Ningbo University of Finance & Economics – China – a partner university of VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”. 43 people participate in the Japanese language course with lecturer Yasuro Minami from the International Institute of Japanese Language and Culture ICEA – Japan.
Starting next month, Portuguese language training will also begin, which will be conducted online under the guidance of lecturers from the Camoes Institute at the Embassy of Portugal in Bulgaria.
Studying rare languages gives students a competitive advantage and opens up new opportunities for international communication, academic exchange and professional development. Varna Free University continues to expand its cultural and educational scope by supporting lifelong learning.
