PROF. DR. PETAR HRISTOV: "ART HAS ITS OWN PLACE IN ALL PROFESSIONAL FIELDS"

An exhibition "The Beginning" was opened today in the University Library of Varna Free University, presenting over 50 of the best student diploma projects in "Fashion Design" from the first classes of 1994. The exhibition is part of the 7 DAYS OD ARTS AND DESIGN and is organized by the University Library and the Department of Arts. It is dedicated to the 30th anniversary from the establishment of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
"Art must find its rightful place in education in all professional fields and majors, in the lives of students. When there is no art, there are no emotions. Time requires us to communicate via the keyboard but we must not forget the words that describe our emotions," said at the opening Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov - Rector of the University. The success of the first graduates in the major were presented, some of them have already realized themselves in Bulgaria, Italy, USA, France, Russia.

The lecture of Assoc. Prof. Liza Boeva - "Why and Who Needs an Oscar" was met with great interest earlier in the day.
Painted Silk was a workshop taught by Iva Pencheva. She is a graduate of Varna Free University, artist and designer, author who has been developing the School of Applied Arts for 15 years and supports the development of creativity with her participation in "7 days of Art and Design".
