Representatives of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” took part in the events dedicated to Europe Day

Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” laid a wreath at the memorial gate of the Eighth Primorski Regiment in Varna as a sign of respect for those who lost their lives during World War II. The event, organized by the Municipality of Varna, included a military ceremony and a memorial prayer service.
Representing the university at the initiative were Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova, Student Council Chairperson Toni Bidzhonov, and Maria Kafedzi, a student in the English-taught International Business programme.
Later in the day, a ceremony marking Europe Day on May 9th was held in front of the building of the Municipality of Varna, where the flag of the European Union was raised.
