Second-year Law students are conducting part of their practical training at Varna Municipality

Second-year students from the Law programme at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” are conducting part of their practical exercises in Administrative Law at Varna Municipality. Led by their lecturer and long-standing administrative judge Gergana Stoyanova, they met with legal experts from the Legal and Regulatory Services Directorate and specialists from the European and National Operational Programmes Directorate.
The students learned about the main areas of work within the municipal administration and the role of the mayor as an executive authority. They were eager to understand what a typical workday in the legal directorate looks like and how the workload is distributed among the lawyers across ongoing administrative proceedings, interactions with judicial institutions, coordination of decisions, contracts, orders, and more.
The students will also have the opportunity to observe the work of the Municipal Council during its regular session on November 27, 2025.
