The Smolyan Branch of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” opened the new academic year today amidst the beauty of the majestic Rhodope Mountains, welcoming more than 240 newly admitted students to its Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes.
The lecturers and staff of the Smolyan Branch welcomed the new students as they begin their studies. Throughout their university journey, they will support them with knowledge, professional experience, and personal attention to their development.
The academic year for first-year students began with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Ivan Sokolov on the subject “Global Issues of the Contemporary World.”
The newly admitted students were encouraged to approach their studies with curiosity, discover their professional interests, build friendships, and confidently embrace the challenges of university education. Gratitude was also expressed to the lecturers for the care and dedication with which they welcome each new generation of students.
Best wishes for a successful academic year, Smolyan Branch!
