SPIRITUAL COMPANIONS OF VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY SPEAK ON 24 MAY

For its 30 years, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" has established itself as a centre for intellectual, cultural and spiritual growth of thousands of young people. The spiritual companions of the university, who have entered into an intimate dialogue with students and lecturers, are among the brightest and most iconic names that have managed to build the modern state of mind. Among them are Valeri Petrov, Gena Dimitrova, Pavel Matev, Stefan Tsanev, Zlatina Todeva, Evtim Evtimov, academician Georgi Markov, Georgi Cherkelov, Nikolay Uvaliev, academician Nikolay Kaufman, Boyko Lambovski and others. All of them leave a unique imprint and continue to be present in the life of the university. The spiritual universe discovered by them is the most faithful reference point for young people, for all of us - in morality and humanitarian values, said Assoc. Prof. Eleonora Tankova, PhD - Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration on the eve of 24 May - the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, Education and Culture and the Slavic Literature!
One of these names is the beloved by generations of Varna residents, the famous actor, poet and director Svilen Stoyanov. ►
Svilen Stoyanov graduated in acting in 1981 in the class of Prof. Encho Halachev. Since 1981 he has been in the troupe of the Stoyan Bachvarov Drama Theatre in Varna. He has played 85 roles in the theatre, and his participations in cinema are in the films "Memories" directed by R. Surdzhiiski, "Octopus", directed by L. Pirelli and "Prestigious Year".
He has been a lecturer in stage speech at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" since 2003 and until now.
