STUDENT LOANS IS THE TOPIC OF A MEETING INITIATED BY THE STUDENT COUNCIL OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"

Student loans will be the topic of a meeting with the participation of Prof. Daniela Bobeva. The event will be held on July 9, 2021 (Friday) at 1.00 pm at the initiative of the Student Council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". Prof. Dr. Anna Nedyalkova - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the University and the academic management of the university are invited.
The meeting, which will be in hybrid form, will be attended by students, PhD students and professors from different universities. Students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" are invited to come to the Conference Hall of the University.
The Student Council of Varna Free University actively takes part in the preparation of proposals process done by the student community aiming to change the conditions for student loans. A number of gaps and problems encountered by young people when applying for credits have been identified. The texts of the Law on Loans to university and doctoral students, which allow loans only to university and doctoral students who study full-time and are under the age of 35 and have no other higher education, are among the issues to be discussed.
