STUDENTS AND LECTURERS FROM UKRAINE WERE TRAINED AT VFU

The Technology Transfer Office of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" hosted a practical course in Materials and Technologies in Construction and Architecture. It was attended by lecturers and second-year students of Architecture and Urban Construction of the National University of Urban Economy "A. N.Beketov ", city of Kharkov, Ukraine. The Kharkov University has established and working collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The participants in the practicum learned more about the work with materials and they themselves made a dispersed polymer-reinforced material, light-permeable concrete and lightweight aggregate concrete under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Rositsa Petkova-Slipets, PhD.
Arch. Plamen Petrov, PhD acquainted the practitioners with the foundations of the architectural constructions and together with the students of the specialty of Architecture at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" made an original non-standard construction of paper.
The practicum ended with the awarding the participants with certificates.
