STUDENTS OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" WITH GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS FROM THE 8TH DECEMBER CUP
The students of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” achieved impressive results at the 8th December Cup University Games. Boryana Nikolova, a first-year student majoring in International Economic Relations, became the champion in the Breaststroke – 50 metres discipline and brought the gold medal to the university. The silver medal was won by Victoria Veleva, a second-year student majoring in Architecture. She also showed strong performance in another discipline, managing to rank among the top ten in Butterfly – 50 metres.
Hristina Plugchieva, a second-year student majoring in Graphic Design, also performed excellently in the freestyle. Alexander Aenski, a student of International Economic Relations, also participated in the competition. The team was led by the teacher Victoria Petkova.
The university was also represented worthily on the football field, where the students showed fighting spirit, character, and good teamwork in their matches, complementing the strong participation of the sports week.
