The Ambassador of Israel, Her Excellency Ms Irit Lilian will deliver a public lecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar"

The Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Bulgaria, Her Excellency Ms Irit Lilian will visit Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" on 17 October, 2018.
During her visit, Ambassador Lilian will meet with the University's academic management and will open an exhibition entitled "Israeli Discoveries and Developments that Have Changed the World" (11.00 am, lobby of the Educational and Sports Complex). Immediately after the opening of the exhibition, Her Excellency Ms Irit Lillian will deliver a public lecture on "Israel in a Changing Middle East." The lecture will be in English.
Her Excellency Ms Irit Lilian has been an Ambassador of Israel to Bulgaria for three years. She is a career diplomat and before taking over the leadership of the Israeli diplomatic mission in Sofia, she headed the Southern Europe Directorate and the Arts and Literature Directorate of the Israeli Foreign Ministry. She held diplomatic posts in France and Singapore. She has a bachelor's degree in archeology and a master's degree in Egyptology. She is fluent in French and English.
