The Center for Positive Education held a training on the topic 'Social and Emotional Intelligence in Preschool Age'

A training session was held In the Varna kindergarten 'Galabche' on the topic 'Social and Emotional Intelligence in Preschool Age', It was organized by the Center for Positive Education at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The lecturers were Albena Pavlova, a lecturer at Varna Free University, and Dr. Bozhidarka Nedelcheva from Dr. Petar Beron Primary School in the village of Priseltsi, who presented approaches to developing social and emotional skills in children and encouraging prosocial behavior.
The training discussed the work of the team of the 'Galabche' Kindergarten, managed by Ms. Rada Nikolova, which implements the Child Well-being Programme of Prof. Rumen Stamatov - head of the Center for Positive Education, through initiatives such as 'Garland of Good Deeds', 'Mail of Good Messages' and game practices for forming values. These activities aim at building a positive educational environment and support the personal growth of children.
The Center for Positive Learning at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" continues to support pedagogical teams in the implementation of innovative methods for socio-emotional development, which affirm virtues and empathy as fundamental elements of upbringing.
