THE RUSSIAN CENTER AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" TURNED 13

The Russian Center at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" celebrated its 13th birthday today. Traditionally, on January 25 - Tatiana's Name Day and a holiday of Russian students, the team of the Center invites colleagues and friends for a piece of cake and a cup of tea.This year, the Russian Center celebrated the holiday with updated computer systems for students and teachers. The programme of the team, whose head is Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina - Secretary General of the University and head of the Russian Center, includes a series of methodological, educational and cultural events to be held in 2022. The main objective in the programme is the organization of the International Qualification School.
The center continues its active work in the training of teachers, as well as students for whom learning the foreign language and the culture is a competitive advantage. At the initiative of the Russian Centre, the university makes memorable exhibitions, book presentations, reading marathons. It hosts and welcomes famous performers from the Varna Opera, who give concerts on the open summer stage in the park of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
