THE RUSSKIY MIR FOUNDATION AWARDED PROF. D.SC. ANNA NEDYALKOVA A BADGE OF HONOUR

The executive director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vladimir Kochin awarded the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Varna Free University, Prof. D Sc. Anna Nedyalkova with a badge of honor of the Russkiy Mir Foundation for her outstanding contribution to the development of Russian -Bulgarian humanitarian cooperation and on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Center at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The award was given during the opening of the XI International Qualification School "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language", in which students and teachers from 12 of the best European universities take part. The International School is held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Varna Free University Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova and the President of the university Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov.



Vladimir Kochin awarded the team of the Russian Center at the university, headed by Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina a medal for their successful work in the spread of Russian language and culture in Bulgaria and Europe.

"We are proud of the high quality of teaching at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar". We are proud to have such a partner in Bulgaria,” said Vladimir Kochin during the opening of the forum. He added that the Foundation will continue to support the development of the International Qualification School in Varna, as the project is already international, it also brings together young learners of Russian from Europe, and was also highly appreciated by the City Council and even won the prestigious Varna award .

"The school brings together in Bulgaria representatives from different countries, united not only by their interest in the scientific approach in the field of Russian linguistics, literature and interpretation, but also by the development of the Russian language in the countries of the world," said Olga Shirokova, the Deputy Director of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo for Bulgaria to the participants and organizers. Rossotrudnichestvo is a long-time partner of the educational event, and this year provided awards for the best teams.




"For the past decade, the School has established itself as a reputable scientific and methodological center providing specialized training for Russian teachers from different countries of Europe and the world. The modern methodological trainings, the highly qualified teachers, the constant pursuit of high results and the unconditional love for the great and powerful Russian language makes the School a center of attention and demonstrates the linguistic wealth of the Rusian language in the world ", commented the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Varna Vladimir Klimanov.
Lilia Hristova, Director of the Directorate for Education and Youth Activities, greeted the participants on behalf of the Mayor of Varna Municipality Ivan Portnih and commented that the School is a sustainable educational brand in foreign language learning, which contributes to the image of the city as an innovative educational destination.





The President of Varna Free University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov wished the participants to greatly benefit their professional development in the XI International Qualification School and to find new motives for their work in this field. He said that the XI International Qualification School "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Russian as a Foreign Language" has become a sustainable educational brand of the university, over the past 11 years there were 619 graduates from 30 European and Asian universities.



The participants and organizers of the School were congratulated by the Rector of the University of Plovdiv, Prof. Dr. Rumen Milanov, the Head of the Regional Department of Education Ventseslava Genova, the National Publishing House for Education and Science "Az Buki" - Nadia Kantareva - Baruch, the President of the Bulgarian National Network of the teachers of Russian language and culture Yuri Todorov, the director of the High School with Foreign Language Education “Alexander Pushkin " in Varna - Svetlan Iliev, the Director of "Geo Milev" school - Albena Pavlova and many others.
