VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATION "EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT"

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is opening admissions for the one-year postgraduate course Educational Management. The training will begin in November 2026 if a group is formed and is intended for future and current directors and deputy directors of schools, kindergartens and personal development support centres, as well as for pedagogical specialists interested in an administrative career in the secondary education system.

The programme develops knowledge and practical skills in three main areas - strategic leadership, operational efficiency and people-oriented management. Participants will prepare for leadership of educational institutions and for creating a sustainable, positive and supportive environment.

The curriculum includes strategic management and strategy development for schools, kindergartens and personal development support centres, management of delegated budgets and projects, cybersecurity and implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation. Special attention is paid to the implementation and use of artificial intelligence in an educational environment.

The course participants will learn approaches to motivation, mentoring and coaching of pedagogical teams, relationship management, evaluation and quality control of teacher work. The training also covers working with school documentation in accordance with the current regulatory framework.

Each participant will develop their own management portfolio with practical applicability in a real educational environment. The training ends with the defence of the diploma project, with the university providing methodological support in the process of its creation.

The classes will be held in a virtual environment and outside working hours. The duration of the course is one year, divided into two semesters. The semester fee is 520 Euros, and the graduation fee is 260 Euros.
