Varna Free University will be honoured with two Varna awards
At a solemn session, the Municipal Council took the final decision for this year's winners of the Varna Award. The prizes will be presented on 23 May at 11:00 in the Plenary Hall of the municipality building by the Mayor of the city Ivan Portnih and by the local parliament president Todor Balabanov.
Varna Free University will receive two Varna awards - a collective award in the field of science and higher education in the area of technical sciences for a scientific team headed by Prof. Arch. Atanas Kovachev, D.Sc. - Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" - for the project "Varna - City for People" Student Laboratory implemented with the support of the Municipality of Varna and a collective award in the field of culture, the category of dance for the Chernorizets Hrabar Academic Dance Theatre, with artistic director Prof. Petar Angelov - for achievements in dance art.
