VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” entered the TOP 4 of Bulgarian universities in terms of digital reputation

Varna Free University is ranked fourth among Bulgarian universities according to the prestigious international ranking UniRank for 2025.UniRank is one of the largest and most recognizable international platforms for ranking universities and colleges, covering 13,900 higher education institutions in the world. 48 higher education institutions from Bulgaria have been included. What distinguishes UniRank from other well-known rankings is the emphasis on online presence, popularity and digital influence, measured via independent web indicators that are not influenced by reports or information submitted by universities.
The ranking is based on factors such as accreditation, availability of bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes, accessibility of resources, popularity of university websites and activity on social networks and YouTube. In recent years, the university has more than doubled its presence on all social channels thanks to the activity of its students, lecturers, staff, alumni, parents, partners and friends.
VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" uses modern communication approaches and communicates actively and successfully with young people not only in the classrooms, but also in the online space. Thus, the digital presence fits naturally into the university's aspiration to be modern and focused on the needs of the academic community.
