VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR IS THE FIRST BULGARIAN UNIVERSITY TO BE RECERTIFIED BY THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION WITH THE HUMAN RESOURCES LOGO UNTIL 2023

The European Commission announced today its decision to recertify VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" with the logo "HR Excellence in Research" until March 23, 2023. This is proof that Varna Free University offers and guarantees stimulating and favorable working environment for its researchers.Another international recognition for VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was the successful representation during the visit of EC expert who made the so-called site-visit on October 10, 2019. They concluded that an effort has been made to harmonize the institution's activities with the principles of the Charter and the Code of Scientists. The comprehensive self-assessment report and action plan provided, as well as the progress made during the visit, meet all the requirements to continue the use of the "HR Excellence in Research" logo throughout the next 3 years.
VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is not only the first Bulgarian university to be awarded the HR Excellence in Research in January 2012, but also the first to defend this prestigious European award!
The HR Excellence in Research logo is awarded by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation to research organizations that adopt and implement the principles in the Charter of European Scientists and The Code of Conduct for the recruitment of researchers.
