VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" SUPPORTED THE "KEEP CHILDREN SAFE ONLINE" SOCIAL CAMPAIGN

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" supported the social campaign of the Insurance company "Lev Ins" AD "Keep children safe online". The campaign covers over 120,000 children, teaching staff, state and municipal officials from all over the country.The initiative of the insurance company "Lev Ins" included one of the most authoritative cyber security specialists in the country - Yavor Kolev and the Olympic karate champion Ivet Goranova. The educational lecture is taught by Yavor Kolev and Zoya Vasilev, who is an expert in cyber security and the national coordinator of the campaign. The training is mainly aimed at school students, as they are the most vulnerable age group and the most active users in the digital environment. The goal is to inform and protect adolescents in the Internet space, to prevent online harassment and assault of children in the digital space.
Partners of the campaign are the Ministry of Education and Science, the State Agency for Child Protection, the National Network for Children, the Association of Bulgarian Cities and Regions, the Ombudsman, universities, the Bulgarian Cyber Security Association, many municipalities and other state, municipal and private organizations.
