In recent years, more than 70 students and teachers have appreciated the beauty of the language of Luís Vaz de Camões. The university received Portuguese textbooks for the people who study the language. They were donated by the Camões Institute. The higher school works actively with Portuguese universities on the Erasmus+ student and teacher mobility programmes. Three lecturers from the Faculty of Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" are about to visit the University of Lisbon and deliver lectures there. The student in Law - Laura Levicharova is preparing for a student mobility, which will also take place at the University of Lisbon. Varna Free University has an agreement under the Erasmus+ programme with the Polytechnic Institute of Santarem, where a teacher from the university has already been a visiting lecturer. The partnership with the University of Porto is also a long-standing one.

During the visit of Her Excellency Ana Maria Ribeiro da Silva, issues of expanding cooperation were discussed, and the idea of creating a Portuguese center or methodological office at the university, the participation of Portuguese students in summer schools at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the conduct of language internships of our students in Portugal were commented on.
