VFU STUDENTS IN THE EUROPEAN PROGRAMME OF HAURATON, GERMANY

For the first year students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", majoring in Construction of Buildings and Structures, Water Supply and Sewerage profile, were selected to participate in the European Student Programme 2019 of Hauraton Company, town of Rastatt, Germany.
The Hauraton Company is one of the leading companies in the field of surface water removal solutions by building drainage systems in industrial and infrastructure construction.
The forum was attended by students and lecturers from universities from Romania, Hungary, Moldova and Bulgaria. Varna Free University was presented by the students Maria Ilieva part-time, 5th –year student and Boyan Boev – full-time 4th –year student of Water Supply and Sewerage bachelor's degree programme, headed by Assoc. Prof. Eng. Aneta Georgieva, PhD.
Within four days, students and lecturers from different universities participated in organized by Hautaron training seminars and visits to the high-tech production base, where leading experts introduced them to the innovative solutions in the area of drainage systems.
At the two workshops held, the participants had the opportunity to apply creatively the new knowledge in solving concrete practical tasks, to present their decisions and to discuss with their colleagues from other universities the different points of view.
At the end of the forum, students and lecturers received participation certificates.
The European Student Programme 2019 of Hauraton is an example of an extremely successful form of collaboration between education and business in which, in an international environment based on professionalism, knowledge and creative thinking, new contacts are created, ideas for creative success, future cooperation and professional development are generated.
