On the eve of the Students’ Holiday and Christmas, Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” invites students, PhD candidates, lecturers, staff and friends of the university to the festive initiative “Knowledge in Lights”, which will take place on
2nd December 2025:
11:00–15:00 – Charity Fair (Central Foyer)
Organized by the Student Council and all university clubs
► Charity bazaar with homemade sweets, pastries, cupcakes, cakes, banitsa, candies, snacks – or anything small but delicious that we can prepare at home and bring to the bazaar.
► Painting & wine
► Making Christmas cards
► Making Christmas souvenirs of concrete
► Quiz and surprises from the socks
15:00–16:00 – Student Awards & Concert by Varna Free Band (Aula Maxima)
► We will announce which of our students have contributed most during the past year to enhancing the reputation of Varna Free University.
► Varna Free Band is the coolest music group at our university.
16:00–17:30 – Turning on the lights of the Christmas Tree
The President of Varna Free University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov, invites students, PhD candidates, lecturers, and staff to join together in turning the lights of the Christmas tree on!
And to enjoy a cup of mulled wine.
