Innovative Master's programs in Cyber Security are launched at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The presentation of the programs resulting in training the first cyber warriors, as they are already called at the university, will be this Saturday - March 16. That is when the establishment of the Black Sea Security Agency will be announced, said the Rector Prof. Petar Hristov for Radio Varna.

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" initiated the project "Black Sea Security Academy". The initiative is in response to the efforts of the university to contribute to the development of practical issues of cyber security and intelligent security systems, as well as the training of highly qualified staff in this field. The ambition of the university is to solve the problems of reactions to cyber threats in our country.
At a special ceremony on March 16, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will present innovative Master's degree programmes in Cyber Security and Intelligent Systems for the Protection of the Population. The project for the establishment of the Black Sea Academy of Security will be announced during the event.
Students and lecturers from the Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" went to an expedition to the historic Shipka peak. It was initiated by the Russian Center at the University and the Student Council. On the national holiday of Bulgaria - March 3, students from five nationalities put a wreath on the legendary monument - a symbol of Bulgarian freedom and commemorated the memory of the thousands of Russian warriors and Bulgarian volunteers who died in the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation from 1877-1878.
