20/12/2023Velizar Chander is the new chairperson of the Student Council at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". He was elected in the elections held a few days ago for the chairperson and management board of the Student Council for the period 2023-2025.
THE FIRST CLASS OF STUDENTS FROM THE DENTAL ASSISTANT COURSE GRADUATED
19/12/2023The first class of 14 students successfully graduated from the qualification course for the acquisition of the third degree of professional qualification in the profession ‘Dental Assistant’, organized by the Center for Professional Training at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". Along with a certificate of professional qualification, the course participants also received a Europass application to a certificate valid in EU countries. The event took place in the Medical-Dental Center "Swiss Dentaprime" Ltd. - Varna and was honored by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Varna Free University, Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova and the vice president of the university Yani Yanev.
NEW ACADEMIC POSITIONS AND SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER"
19/12/2023After a competition, the academic council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" awarded the academic position of "professor" to Prof. Dr. Yuliana Mateeva - lecturer in Law, as well as to Prof. Dr. Katya Kairyakova and Prof. Dr. Maria Kardzhieva - choreography lecturers. Dr. Georgi Zagorov and Dr. Nadie Adem were awarded the academic positions of 'Chief Assistant'.
FOREIGN STUDENTS LEARNED MORE ABOUT CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR TRADITIONS
18/12/2023A cultural activity entitled The Bulgarian Christmas Traditions was held in the Language Center of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" with the foreign students from the preparatory course for language and specialized training on the eve of the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. The event was organized and carried out by the Department of Foreign Language Education and Post-graduate Qualification.

14/12/2023Dr. Lyubomir Antonov - Head of the Department of Public Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", delivered a course of lectures on the topic Using Tax Regulations in Business Practice to teachers and students at the University of Economics and Innovation WSEI Academy in Lublin, Poland.

14/12/2023A forum on the topic "The Response of the Bulgarian Education System to the Flood of Ukrainian Refugees" was held in Varna on the initiative of the Association of Bulgarian Black Sea Municipalities (ABBSM) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The experts commented on the approaches and challenges for the system.
VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" WILL TRAIN STUDENTS FROM NANTONG UNIVERSITY IN CHINA
13/12/2023VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will train students from Nantong University from China, and this will happen from the new academic year - 2024/2025. The cooperation between the two educational institutions was announced at a press conference for the Chinese media, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova - vice-rector of Varna Free University and an expert team took part. Assoc. Prof. Tankova presented to the Chinese colleagues the guidelines for future development and the strategy for the successful implementation of educational and scientific initiatives.

12/12/2023An exciting meeting of the director Srebrina Sokolova with students from Varna Free University revealed new perspectives in the art world today. Srebrina Sokolova is an alumnus of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", which she graduated with flying colours and a gold ring award (see the picture).
