19/05/2023Sports festival was held today at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". It was organised by the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University on the occasion of the Bulgarian Sports Day – 17 May and on the eve of 24 May.

Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Rector - Prof. Petar Hristov, PhD were interviewed by a team of the BGNES Information Agency. About the university, students’ professional perspectives, partnerships with higher education institutions in the European Union, the state of Bulgarian education and the challenges ahead.
WORTHY PRESENTATION OF THE CIVIL AND COMMERCIAL LAW TEAM AT THE CASE STUDY COMPETITION IN BURGAS
18/05/2023A team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" participated in the 10th Competition in solving civil and commercial law case studies, organised by the Centre for Legal Sciences at Burgas Free University. The team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was well represented by the students of the Faculty of Law: Mila Petrova (4th year, Law) - captain of the team, Slavena Georgieva (4th year, Law), Gergana Atanasova (3rd year, Law) and Zhanina Gicheva (3rd year, Law). The preparation of the students for the competition was led by the judges of Varna District Court, Diana Miteva and Neiko Dimitrov, as well as by Chief Assist. Prof. Maria P. Petrova, lecturer at Varna Free University and lawyer at the Varna Bar Association, member of the competition jury.

15/05/2023The Student Council of Varna Free University performed excellently at the Orange Sea educational exhibition, which was held on 13 May at the entrance to the Seaside Park in Varna. The university's young talents presented the university's specialties after completed secondary education, as well as the possibilities for applying to higher education.
FOUR GOLD MEDALS FOR VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" AT THE NATIONAL STUDENT CHAMPIONSHIP
15/05/2023Varna Free University students Polina Galinova - 4th- year student of Psychology and Christian Yordanov - 1st-year student of National Security Protection won four gold medals at the National Kickboxing Championship, which was held in Stara Zagora. The students placed the university in the TOP 3 of the championship organised by the Association for University Sports "Akademik".

12/05/2023The Academic Council of the Eurasian International University in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, awarded the title "Doctor Honoris Causa" to the Chairпperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova. The honorary title is awarded to Prof. Nedyalkova for her significant contribution to the development of higher education, scientific research and fruitful cooperation.

12/05/2023А delegation led by Prof. Tomasz Wolowiec - Director of the Institute of Public Administration and Business visited VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" in implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding from 2021 between Varna Free University and the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin (Poland). He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Sylvester Boksatsky - Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences and Prof. Dr. Igor Chulipa - Deputy Rector for Scientific and Academic Work, Economic Development and Projects at the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Lutsk, Ukraine.
