30/03/2023The Student Council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will present an award for the most united team to one of the 13 teams that will take part in the eighth edition of the National Creative Skills Competition Varna Spaghetti Engineering. The 13 school student groups will represent the leading vocational high schools in architecture, construction and geodesy in the country. This year they will compete in designing and building towers made from spaghetti.

29/03/2023Prof. George Vredeveld - one of the long-time close partners of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Honorary Consul for State of Ohio at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, visited Varna Free University. He met Yani Yanev - Vice President of the University, Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov - Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova, Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration.

The talented graduates of the language high school have a strong interest in the bachelor's and master's majors offered by VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" after completing their secondary education.

24/03/2023Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" presents its courses and majors in the "CANDIDATE STUDENT CAMPAIGN VARNA 2023", organized by the Municipality of Varna, through the Directorate of Education and Youth Activities, in cooperation with Career Development Center-Varna. The event was opened by Lilia Hristova - director of the Education and Youth Activities Directorate at the Municipality of Varna and Diyana Yaneva - director of the municipal career development center. The traditional meeting between Varna universities and graduating high school students was resumed after a 2-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Yaneva explained to the media that a large percentage of the school-leavers, who are about 2,000 per year, stay to study in Bulgaria. Many prefer the universities in Varna because of the level of training they offer and the attractive majors that give young people the opportunity for realization and good pay.

Bachelors and masters from various specialties showed great interest to the event.

17/03/2023The eighth edition of the National Creative Skills Competition "Varna Spaghetti Engineering" will be held on March 31 and April 1, 2023. The organizer and host of the event is the Construction of Buildings and Facilities Department at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The competition team is the winner of the prestigious "Varna" award for 2019.

The meeting was attended by Bozhidar Stanchev - Chairperson of the Union, Assoc. Prof. D. Sc. Vladislav Lazarov - deputy chairperson, Yovka Gaikova - chairperson of the Varna branch of the organization.
