3RD INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM "MY INITIATIVE IN EDUCATION" 21-25 MAY 2019

The Russian Centre of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomes for the third consecutive year the participants in the International Youth Forum "My Initiative in Education". The event is held under the auspices of the President of VFU, Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD.
The forum, which is to be held from 21 to 25 May, is a joint project of Varna Free University and the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. It is supported by the management of the two universities, the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Varna, the representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in Bulgaria and the National Publishing House for Education and Science "Azbuki".
The official opening of the 3rd International Youth Forum "My Initiative in Education" will take place on 22 May, 2019 at 10:00. It will be attended by the Academic management of Varna Free University, Irina Zhivihina - Head of the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in Bulgaria, the vice-consul of the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in Varna Aleksandra Dergachova and others. At 12:00 the same day, a special greeting to the participants and the guests will be extended by the Varna Opera's soloists who will perform concert with works by Pancho Vladigerov on the open stage of VFU.
The event will be attended by more than 30 students from the the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, the National University of Science and Technology MISiS, the State University of Transport of Samara and the S. A. Esenin State University of Ryazan. The Bulgarian side will be represented by students of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", Nicola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, the University of Economics, Paisii Hilendarski Plovdiv University and Episkop Konstantin Preslavski Shumen University.
This year, Varna Free University participates in the competition for socially significant projects of the Hertzen University with the student project "Book House" of the students Sali Svetoslavov, majoring in National Security Protection and Aleksander Ivanov, student of Psychology.
In the programme of the forum in Varna, the participants will present their projects for new initiatives in education, master classes, festival of cultural and educational activities of the Russian and Bulgarian youths. The students from the Naiden Gerov Secondary School in Varna will be specially involved. They will be shown new technologies for interesting study of the Russian language and culture. The guests from Russia will join the bloc of Varna Free University on the 24th May festive procession - the Bulgarian Education and Culture and Slavonic Literature Day.
This year, the team of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching and Postgraduate Studies at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", headed by Prof. Galina Shamonina, PhD, welcomed the celebration with the prestigious Varna Award.
