TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION " IT IS COLORFUL TOGETHER"

If you want to create an interesting work, express your emotions and show them in a competition,
Take on a new challenge!
The Department of Fine Arts at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" invites you to take part in a competition in the field of fine arts and design on the topic "It is Colorful Together".
Different works in the field of fine arts and design can be presented in the competition, such as:

Drawings in black/white or in colour, illustrations, etc.;
Design projects (drawings) in different areas of design - fashion sketches of clothes (for example for your prom), logo projects, posters, flyers or stickers for events, graffiti projects, etc.
Author's photography - art, fashion, urban, etc.

The topic should be perceived and reflected in semantic, emotional and social terms.
The competition can present photographs (reproductions) of author's works and images and design projects created using traditional drawing materials (paints, pencils, ink, chalk, etc.), or a file of digitally generated works using graphics programs.
Each participant can send from 1 to 3 works.
Applicants are required to submit photos of the work created, with a maximum quality - photos and/or files must be in JPG or PNG format and not larger than 5 MB each (suitable to be printing on an A3 printer). The name of each submitted file must start with the author's name and add the serial number of the work (for example ivan ivanov 1).
Selection criteria:
The works of all participants will be selected and evaluated based on:

Their relevance to the topic;
Their artistic value.

The works presented in the competition will be evaluated by a jury (lecturers at the Department of Fine Arts at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar") consisting of:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diana Peneva-Sotirova
Dr. Victor Petkov

Awards:

Each participant will be awarded a certificate.
Three of the participants will be ranked from first to third place and will receive prizes.
The best works will be selected by the jury and will be exhibited in the event: "Competition in the field of fine arts and design on the topic: ITIS COLORFUL TOGETHER. Participation in the exhibition will be considered an advantage when applying for the specialties "Graphic Design" and "Fashion Design" at Varna Free University.

Deadline for publication of the winners from the competition and the participants in the exhibition: 20 to 30 June 2022
The winners will be informed by email and the results will be announced on the website and Facebook page of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
