THE STUDENTS ARE THE BEST CERTIFICATE FOR THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

"We are proud of our students the most. They are knowledgeable, capable, searching young people, with successful realization in almost all parts of the world," commented Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov - Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar” in front of the newspaper Nabludatel ("Observer").
The largest private university in our country - Varna Free University (VFU) Chernorizets Hraber received its first accreditation 20 years ago. In 2019 it received its fourth accreditation valid for 6-year period with a grade of 9.21 out of 10 (one of the highest awarded in our country). For 30 years the university has become an established academic center that combines the education of Bulgarian and foreign students in areas considered top for the country and creates an internationally convertible and competitive scientific and academic product. Over 5,000 students study at the university in more than 67 bachelor's and master's degree programmes and 29 doctoral programmes. The study units at the university are the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Architecture, the Smolyan branch, the Department of Foreign Language Teaching.
“We are starting the academic year in a hybrid training format, following all the requirements and measures for Covid prevention”, said the Rector of VFU Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov. “We strive to provide maximum face-to-face training, while respecting the regulated distance. Personally, I am in favor of more extreme measures, because in a high-tech, information society, the only acceptable management approach is the scientific approach - based on scientific evidence. We have no right to rely on faith and hope. And the facts are unequivocal - we are among the first in terms of morbidity and among the last - in vaccination”, the Rector commented. According to him, beyond the readiness for online training, VFU has enough reasons for optimism. They report increased candidate student interest, rely on excellent facilities, 20 years of experience in management and an authoritative academic staff.
- “We take part in a large number of projects in which, unfortunately, private universities were not admitted as leading organizations”, said the Rector. “But we are constantly expanding our partnerships - something inevitable not only for universities, in the age of communications and mobility. We have been long-term partners with Medical University of Varna, the Academy of the Ministry of Interior, the University of Architecture, Geodesy and Civil Engineering, and a number of foreign universities. We train students from Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Poland, Africa.
