VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY WITH ACCESS TO THE IPRBOOKS ELECTRONIC LIBRARY

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" has access to the IPRbooks electronic library http://www.iprbookshop.ru with huge resources in various scientific fields and with the participation of leading publishers. Our students and faculty have access through the Russian Centre of the University to 142,266 publications in over 55 professional fields, 395 scientific journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia, 687 journals, 35,358 academic publications, 10,386 scientific publications, 754 collections, 1,720 audio editions and 31,392 video editions. The library regularly organises trainings for partner universities, which support training in a virtual environment. The latest editions are reviewed, audio and video resources for training are offered. It is important that all universities that have access can use the library anywhere, including from a smartphone, at any time of the day.
The Russian Centre of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" assisted many teachers in Russian from northeastern Bulgaria to participate in a webinar of the partner library and the presentation of the latest resource - the Platform "Russian as a Foreign Language". The webinar was organized with the assistance of the Russkiy Mir Foundation for Russian Centres, which have access to the numerous resources of the electronic library. The moderator Vita Kutueva, Development Director of IPR MEDIA, spoke in detail about the ways of registration of students and faculty, the work with books, tests, audio resources, the possibilities of working with the personal account of the lecturer and the student. The new platform supports Russian language training by providing opportunities for independent work and self-improvement.
The access to the electronic library is a great advantage of our university. It ensures the free use of a huge resource of educational materials in various fields, which faculty and students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" can use daily.
