VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" WELCOMED PARTNERS FROM LUBLIN HIGHER SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND INNOVATION

А delegation led by Prof. Tomasz Wolowiec - Director of the Institute of Public Administration and Business visited VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" in implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding from 2021 between Varna Free University and the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin (Poland). He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Sylvester Boksatsky - Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences and Prof. Dr. Igor Chulipa - Deputy Rector for Scientific and Academic Work, Economic Development and Projects at the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Lutsk, Ukraine.

The guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov - Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Secretary-General of the university - Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina and the Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova.

The partners discussed issues related to the development of new projects, specialized partnerships with the faculties of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" regarding joint publications, exchange of students and scientific conferences, as well as the development of joint master's and doctoral programmes.

The Higher School of Economics and Innovation in Lublin was established with the permission of the Minister of Education and Sports on 24 October 2000. The mission of the university is to prepare highly qualified professionals who can meet European standards and who then can strengthen the potential of human resources and increase the capacity of local government institutions in terms of public finance management, strategic planning or absorption and management of European funds. In the context of the economic development of the region, these areas of activity are the main challenges that the public and private sectors must face in the next few years.

The university offers education in bachelor's and master's degree programmes in the faculties of Humanities, Administration and Social Sciences and Transport and IT.
