
The reception was organized by H.E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bulgaria. The event’s programme combined diplomatic etiquette with elements of the rich Moroccan culture.

Five students majoring in the bachelor's degree programme Fire and Emergency Safety at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" in different years successfully completed a two-month internship in Turkey. The internship took place at the Yozkartay Yangan company - a key company in the field of fire safety and equipment.

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Sakarya University in Turkey have started a new academic partnership in the field of fire engineering.

The mayor offered to the Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov this event to become an annual competition, at which students can present to the business of Shumen and for the needs of the Industrial Park their architectural solutions for factories, production and warehouse facilities, infrastructure, etc., with the best ones being awarded prizes.

Students will present their architectural designs for the territory of the Industrial Park in Shumen.

An official meeting between the managements of the two institutions is planned, followed by a presentation of student architectural projects developed for the territory of the Industrial Park in the city.

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" presented its suggestions to the Committee on Education and Science in the 49th National Assembly and to the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Krasimir Valchev, regarding the discussed Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Higher Education Act (No. 51-554-01-122/27.06.2025).

The trainings were aimed at improving the professional competencies of pedagogical specialists through the application of modern educational approaches and techniques in a school environment.

Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhechka Ilieva and the mentors, alumni of the Architecture programme , the students engaged with the living architectural memory of the city, using the urban environment as a field for observation, sketching, and interpretation.
