VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" STARTS BULGARIAN LANGUAGE TRAINING FOR FOREIGNERS

The Department of Foreign Language Training and Postgraduate Qualification of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" starts Bulgarian language courses for foreign citizens. The training allows the successfully completed students to continue their education in the bachelor's or master's degree programmes of the university or in other Bulgarian higher education institutions. The courses last for nine months, starting in November and ending in September of the following year. The training can be conducted in person and on-line in groups of no more than 10 participants, and the fee can be paid in installments.
"Learning Bulgarian as a foreign language is especially important and useful for all those who have chosen Bulgaria to receive their education or to live here," said Assoc. Prof. Velislava Nikolaeva, PhD, Head of the Department of Foreign Language Training at VFU " Chernorizets Hrabar. "
A new opportunity is the short-term intensive training in the Bulgarian language, which ends with an exam to certify the level of language proficiency. It is extremely suitable for obtaining Bulgarian citizenship, said Assoc. Prof. Nikolaeva. The Department of Foreign Language Training and Postgraduate Qualification of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is an authorized institution and has accumulated experience in the language training required to obtain Bulgarian citizenship by foreigners. The training is conducted in groups, individually, in person and on-line. Foreigners for whom English is not their mother tongue can also take the opportunity to increase their language skills and competence. For foreign students who wish to continue their studies in Bulgaria, in specialties that are studied in English, the Department of Foreign Language Training offers preparatory courses.
