WORK BEGAN ON THE CREATION OF CONCEPTS FOR SOCIALIZATION OF THE VARNA NECROPOLIS
18/09/2019Three student teams that will be working on creating socialization concepts for the Varna Necropolis in the coming days, in which the world's oldest processed gold was discovered, inspected the terrain today. In 1972, more than 3,000 gold objects were discovered in 294 graves dating back to the Copper Age. The finds are considered to be the oldest technologically processed gold in Europe and in the world, attributed to the so called Culture Varna (4400 - 4100 BC).

17/09/2019Varna Free University welcomed 68 participants from 27 universities from Georgia, Ukraine, Slovenia and Croatia, who are participating in the 4th International Scientific Forum entitled "Innovation in Science - Challenges of Our Time". The event was organized by Chernihiv State Technological University in Ukraine, VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Ukrainian Centre for Strategic Initiatives and Progressive Development. It was opened today by Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of Varna Free University, who emphasized that the university did not accidentally host the event - it is a generator of innovation in education, guided by the task that higher education institutions face - to educate in leadership. Prof. Galina Chamonina, PhD - General Secretary of the university, presented the partnership advantages and opportunities of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", as well as the leading master’s degree and doctoral programmes.

11/09/2019The Rector of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. Dr. Peter Hristov signed a memorandum of understanding with Tencho Dinev - a Chairperson of the National Chamber "Fire Safety in Construction". Varna Free University is the first higher educational institution in the country, apart from the state higher educational institutions that started courses in “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population”, commented Prof. Peter Hristov. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Plovdiv. The academic year was opened at the Dual Training Center, where "Vivat Academia" was sung for 200 students from the Faculty of Architecture and the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

10/09/2019The team of Varna Free University takes part in the 8th international festival "Friends, Our Union is Wonderful!" which this year is in the beautiful Bulgarian Black Sea town of Kiten. The event brings together 280 students from 25 universities and 32 European countries studying Russian and Russian culture.

09/09/2019The Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" organizes introductory training of obligated persons under Art. 4 of the Measures against Money Laundering, in accordance with the regulatory requirements and the Regulations for its implementation. The course is suitable for representatives of non-governmental organizations, wholesalers, real estate agencies, currency exchange offices, insurance officers, registered auditors, accountants, private bailiffs, postal operators, professional sports clubs, etc.
