"THE VERB TENSES AND THE SOUND 'Ъ' MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR FOREIGNERS STUDYING BULGARIAN LANGUAGE", SAYS THE EXPERT
12/01/2024Verb tenses are one of the most serious difficulties encountered by foreigners learning Bulgarian. Especially in the initial stage of learning, the sound Ъ turns out to be an obstacle. This is what Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Marinov, who teaches Bulgarian to foreign students at Varna Free University, said in front of BTA. The university has a special course 'Bulgarian as a Foreign Language', which is studied in a preparatory year for language and specialized training.

11/01/2024A team from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will take part in the first national student competition in administrative and legal sciences, which will be held on January 13, 2024 at the Supreme Administrative Court of Bulgaria. Six teams from key law schools in the country have applied for participation in the competition - VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, HBU, South-West University "Heofit Rilski", Paisii Hilendarski University of Provdiv and "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse.

21/12/2023The project "AKADEKOS - Innovative model for modernization of higher education by creating an academic ecosystem VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar” - The Technical University - Varna - Paisiy Hilendarski university of Plovdiv was successfully completed. The beneficiary of the project is VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the partners TU - Varna and "Paisiy Hilendarski" University of Plovdiv. VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" LAUNCHES THE MASTER'S PROGRAMME IN INTELLIGENT SECURITY SYSTEMS TAUGHT IN TURKISH
20/12/2023Varna Free University has launched its new master's degree programme in Intelligent Security Systems, which is taught in Turkish. The first class of students in the programme includes representatives of the Association of Fire Brigades from the Turkish city of Tekirdag. The first module of the training includes lecturers from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, representatives of the emergency services – police, ambulance assistance, fire brigade, the Single European emergency number 112, the Municipality of Varna, etc.

19/12/2023The first class of 14 students successfully graduated from the qualification course for the acquisition of the third degree of professional qualification in the profession ‘Dental Assistant’, organized by the Center for Professional Training at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". Along with a certificate of professional qualification, the course participants also received a Europass application to a certificate valid in EU countries. The event took place in the Medical-Dental Center "Swiss Dentaprime" Ltd. - Varna and was honored by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Varna Free University, Prof. D.Sc. 19/12/2023After a competition, the academic council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" awarded the academic position of "professor" to Prof. Dr. Yuliana Mateeva - lecturer in Law, as well as to Prof. Dr. Katya Kairyakova and Prof. Dr. Maria Kardzhieva - choreography lecturers. Dr. Georgi Zagorov and Dr. Nadie Adem were awarded the academic positions of 'Chief Assistant'.
